Thanks are given to the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Northwest for their sponsorship, and the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) design students for their cooperation. We are also grateful for the famous product designer Mr Kevin Cheung and interior designer Mr Joe Yiu for their invaluable advice.
16 Salvation Army disabled service users of Heng On and 29 design students of ThEi Cooperated to create fashionable products with the theme “LOHAS Lifestyle”, such as handbags, notebooks, etc. We hope to explore more job opportunities for the disabled, helping to increase their income and to produce environmentally-friendly art products in future. Meanwhile, the event lets the public understand more about the potentials and abilities of the disabled.
