We will be hosting the “Douguya Hatcharea” and “Gallery tete” exhibition from March 28, 2025 (Friday).
“Douguya Hatcharea” has a store in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong, that specializes in Japanese antique crafts and furniture that have been self-restored. Meanwhile, “Gallery tete,” located in Central, Hong Kong, focuses on handmade works by contemporary Japanese creators. This exhibition marks the first invitation extended to “Douguya Hatcharea” to showcase various curated items centered around the theme of soil-root -looping inside Gallery tete.
Pete from Hatcharea excels at restoring antiques without over-repairing them, delving into the details that reveal the essence of these objects. His work interacts with that of modern artisans constantly seeking self-expression, creating a new collaboration that beyond time and culture.
We hope to provide a sense of pleasant harmony while understanding the aesthetics embodied in these works, allowing them to connect with modern life.
Experience the ancient artifacts that have withstood the test of time alongside the creations of contemporary artists. We hope you can take the time to appreciate the aesthetic world woven by these resonances.
