Organized by PMQ, deTour is an annual festival in Hong Kong celebrating works and ideas from designers and creative talents local and abroad. It is an event borne to connect local and overseas designers through exhibitions, workshops, dialogues, debates, and networking events. The general public together with design professionals are also invited to engage and experience design from different perspectives.

As a platform devoted to supporting local design talents, deTour creates a perfect opportunity for fellow designers both local and abroad to collaborate by transforming boundless creativity into design solutions. deTour encourages everyone to observe and explore how design is crucial for a better tomorrow.

deTour 2020 is now inviting creative proposals from local and overseas creative talents to respond to this year’s theme “Matter of Life”. Up to HKD$100,000 of sponsorship fee will be granted for production of the selected proposals, which will be publicly exhibited at deTour.
