Years of development, have gained great achievement in the expression as an art form, being an important heritage in human civilization.

Artistic writing or hanzi pattern are a combination of craftsmanship and modeling. Integrated into daily life, they enrich the sentiment behind the words, carrying a temperature of life. It is, to people who always believe in this culture, a support to their souls deep down.

I like working on hanzi design. I even regard it as my most important design assignment.

From calligraphy, to ornamental writing, to minimalistic contemporary style, I’ve been striving to apply the visual aesthetics to the design of hanzi whenever it is possible.

Hanzi patterns or hanzi design was not valued, or even ignored, for a certain period of time. Today,hanzi is celebrated again, flourishing in the field of commercial art and design, appearing in some outstanding creations by designers. A hundred flowers bloom, a hundred schools of thought contend, so to speak.

Besides, I like to consider hanzi design as a pure art form. Based on visual design and with the application of multimedia, I convert flat and still shapes to stereoscopic, animated and installation works, turning words into a beautiful scenery in the world.
